Bezzera Unica Espresso Machine w/ PID
CaffeTech Canada presents the well built Single Boiler espresso Machine known as the Bezzera Unica PID. The Unica is built especially for people who appreciate espresso above anything else. A single boiler machine, the Unica can only either brew espresso or steam milk at a given time. What the Unica lacks in multi-tasking, it more than makes up for in precision. Equipped with an E61 group and PID temperature control, you can expect perfect espresso extraction.
E61 Group
The Unica features the time tested E61 group. The E61 been the golden standard for high end espresso machines for over 50 years. An E61 group head is heated using a thermosyphon system that circulates water through the group head keeping it very hot. The grouphead is controlled by raising the lever that activates the vibration pump and opens the group solenoid valve to deliver coffee. Once the desired quantity is reached, lower the lever to stop brewing.
PID Controller
The Unica comes with a digital PID controller. It allows you to change the boiler temperature while greatly improving overall temperature stability and this consistant espresso shots. A PID comes in handy when brewing specialty coffees to bring out their flavour by testing at various temperatures.
Quick Heat Time
Espresso Machines with E61 Groups are known to warm up very slowly. Not the Unica. With it's 0.5 L boiler, the Unica will be ready to brew espresso in no time.
