LZ E.3.030 - NTC LCR TEMPERATURE PROBE  LA MARZOCCO

The La Marzocco E.3.030.R NTC Temperature Probe Kit is the updated replacement for the earlier E.3.030 temperature probe.

This revised OEM kit includes the NTC temperature sensor together with the required updated wiring harness, allowing the newer-generation probe to be connected in applications where the original machine wiring or connector configuration differs from the current probe.

The temperature probe supplies temperature information to the machine's electronic control system and PID, allowing the machine to accurately regulate boiler temperature.

Because La Marzocco has revised the probe and electrical connection during production, E.3.030.R should be treated as a complete retrofit/update kit rather than simply a replacement bare probe.

Common Applications

E.3.030.R is used on selected La Marzocco machines including:

• Linea Mini — applicable earlier-generation machines requiring the updated probe/harness
• Linea Mini R
• Linea Micra
• Linea Classic S

Compatibility can vary according to model, production date, serial number and original wiring configuration.

If replacing an earlier E.3.030 probe, compare the existing connector and wiring arrangement before ordering. The E.3.030.R kit includes the updated harness necessary for applicable retrofit installations.

Why the Wiring Harness Is Included

Earlier machines may use a different electrical connection than the revised La Marzocco NTC probe.

The E.3.030.R revision provides the updated probe together with the corresponding wiring/adapter harness so the replacement sensor can be integrated with the appropriate machine electronics without attempting to modify the new probe wiring.

This is particularly important when servicing earlier machines where ordering only a newer-style temperature sensor may leave the technician without the correct connection to the machine harness or control board.
