The Strada X can be used in AV mode, a manual pressure profile mode and a programmable pressure profile mode for repeatability and ultimate commercial coffee bar control. It features all the enhancements of the Strada line which include independent saturated boilers, exceptional steam power, pro touch steam wand and the aesthetics of the low profile design that has made the Strada series a flagship of specialty coffee bars across the world. This is the ultimate La Marzocco commercial espresso machine that features the straight in portafilter design of the impressive KB 90. The Most impressive feature is smart saturation that ensures even coffee saturation, enhances coffee flavour as well as clarity and provides better control for baristas that want to customize saturation times to accommodate various coffee profiles. This is the ultimate La Marzocco machine catered to roaster coffee bars wanting full control and understanding of their espresso extraction process.
La Marzocco has developed the Strada X Series to provide the Barista with ultimate control. With Its manufacturing pedigree La Marzocco delivers saturated brew group technology, PID Control and Multi Boiler control in the build philosophy of the Strada series utilizing A lower profile that invites a front facing position of the Strada so that the barista can engage with the public and individual customer while also providing the barista an open, expansive work area.

Tying pressure profiles to a target weight managed by La Marzocco’s predictive mass algorithm creates unparalleled consistency from shot to shot—even with the most adventurous pressure curve. Combined with Smart Saturation, the mass-based profiling delivers unparalleled accuracy and repeatability.

By automating the preinfusion stage based on backpressure sensed in the grouphead, the new Smart Saturation feature ensures that every espresso puck is fully saturated before the pump is engaged. This ensures that pressurized water has consistent pathways through the coffee, making every shot—no matter what the pressure profile is set to—behave exactly like the one the barista dialed in. Smart Saturation is the backbone of the Strada X, representing a new way of looking at coffee saturation and pressure profiling, with a focus on consistency, repeatability, and workflow.
paddle-based profile control
A redesigned paddle ensures that the Strada X automatically tunes your pressure inputs into a profile that won’t damage the puck and result in channeling. By programming real-time pressure ramping into the software, baristas can see exactly how their newly created profile runs as they’re pulling a shot in Manual mode.
straight-in portafilters
Straight-in portafilters increase speed while reducing the strain on baristas and being gentler on espresso pucks. Combined with an auto steam flush for streamlined workflow and cleaner groupheads, straight-in portafilters are a complete reimagining of the most repeated task in espresso preparation.

Grouphead specific boilers allow for simultaneous custom brew temperatures while a separate steam boiler delivers on-demand steam pressure.
