Note :Rocket Espresso began transitioning from brass to ceramic mushrooms in their E61 group heads around mid-2023. However, they did not release a specific serial number cutoff marking this change. The shift was gradually phased in across different models, so the exact point varies depending on the machine.

To determine whether a specific Rocket machine has the ceramic mushroom, you would need to check the machine’s serial number with Rocket Espresso directly or inspect the group head. The ceramic version is visually distinguishable by its lighter color and slightly different texture compared to the traditional brass mushroom.
